Notes on battery disposal

In connection with the sale of batteries or the delivery of devices containing batteries, we are obliged to inform you of the following:

End consumers are legally obliged to return used batteries and rechargeable batteries. Used batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. Instead, they can be handed in free of charge at any designated collection and return point. Join us in protecting our natural environment from environmentally harmful pollution.

Batteries and rechargeable batteries purchased from Wentronic can of course be returned to us or handed in after use. Wentronic GmbH is registered as a manufacturer within the meaning of the battery law with the EAR foundation with all own brands under the number 36133961. Wentronic is responsible for the collection of used batteries from RLG Systems AG (REBAT). 1.

The symbols shown on the batteries, accumulators or button cells have the following meaning:
Fig.1 = Battery must not be disposed of with household waste.


In the following cases, the sign indicating the heavy metal content (Pb, Cd or Hg) can be found below the symbol shown in Fig. 1.

Pb = battery contains more than 0.004 % lead
Cd = battery contains more than 0.002 % cadmium
Hg = battery contains more than 0.0005 % mercury
